About Bobby
Hi my name is Bobby and I am nearly 3 years old and I am a Kelpie x.
I am a handsome nice natured gentle soul, friendly, affectionate and love attention.
I would prefer to go to a quite property with older people as an only dog or maybe a friend that can help me navigate around as I have limited vision making me what humans refer to as a ‘Special needs doggo’ but I am special anyway! So no stairs please, just a nice fenced yard will do.
I love to run around a big open paddock and I listen for my carers voice and come back when she calls. I have gotten used to our trail walking and know the path well.
I love to play with other dogs especially my puppy friend that jumps all over me, and I don’t mind a bit of ruff n tumble. I also walk nicely alongside my older doggie friend. My carer says, I am her ears and she is my eyes!
I am learning the basic training at the moment that I never received before, and I will sit now when asked. I am a good boy.
I am a gorgeous boy that just wants to be spoilt and loved for my next journey in life. I am a little shy at first but will love you if you will love me.
Medical notes
I have had a full vet check and been told my new family needs to be aware of a couple of things for my future care.
The vet has examined my eyes and I have been diagnosed with Optic neuritis. This diagnoses means that I am blind but that only makes me a cool cucumber. Don't be deterred, as my lack of vision means my hearing and smell are my eyes, I just occasionally bump in to a few things...whoops. The vet has assured everyone that I am not in pain.
I have also had my pearly whites cleaned and three of my chompers have been removed. The vet has had a good look while smelling my breath and believes that the other teeth are looking good, but you will need to remember I am a few short of a mouth full and I will need my teeth checked at my yearly check ups with my new vet friend.
