Jazz 💙 Jack Russell, male (On Trial 23/11/22)

Jazz is a very easy-going, happy companion 🐶. He is a Jack Russell Terrier, 12 years old and in excellent health. He loves to go for a brisk walk and to keep you company as you go about your day. He likes to jump onto the couch and sit next to you but he isn’t clingy or demanding. He is housetrained and will take himself outside as needed.

Jazz is great with other dogs, even when they’re not very friendly to him. He gets along with everyone. We haven’t tested him with cats but he is so placid, that I think he’d be fine with cats and other pets.

Jazzie has a very lovely and unique coat which is short on the sides with longer hair around his neck and down his back. Jazz is very sweet and easy to take care of. 💝 He sleeps inside all through the night without needing to go out. He is a good eater.

Jazz loves going for walks and trots along very nicely on a harness and lead. He is good in the car 🚗. He isn't a nuisance barker and doesn’t even bark when people walk past the house. He is currently living with another little dog and he will join in with her if she starts barking. He likes to have a bit of grass to access but it doesn’t have to be big, so a villa with a courtyard would be fine.

We think he’d be fine home alone while you go to work, so long as it’s not a very long day.

Jazz is good with children so long as they don’t pick him up. He wouldn’t enjoy a busy household with young children but he’d be fine with young visitors.

✅ Jazz has been thoroughly checked by a vet and he has no health issues. Jazz is having a dental cleaning next week 16/11/22 when he gets desexed.

Jazz was saved from a pound by Dog Rescue Newcastle. Small dogs like Jazzie typically live to around 16 years, so he still has lots of love to give to the lucky person who takes him home. Senior dogs are great for senior people, and also for working people, and anyone who doesn’t have time to train a dog and go for big walks. 🌺

Jazz is in foster care in Mount Hutton, NSW (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle). ⭐️He is only available for adoption within NSW and ACT.

Jazz's adoption fee is $400 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, worms, vet checked, dental cleaning done, microchipped and registered.
