Adorable little senior Cody
Cody eats, plays, sleeps well. He is quite happy left alone but when he wants your attention he will let you know. He spends the majority of the time sleeping on the couch or watching TV, but he also very much enjoys the walks. He walks very well right besides you and marks his territory as he walks. He is toilet trained inside the home . When he has to go he will come to you and let you know. You can take him outside anytime and he will pee but right now he goes in the morning, after lunch and before bed. He is not a fussy eater. He gets breakfast and dinner and he cleans the bowl each and every time. He is selective with other dogs. I think this is because he just wants to be left alone and enjoy his peace, but he is very great with people. When we walk he wants to go and say hi to everyone he sees and likes pats. He sleeps inside and prefers to be inside.
“Cody is 90% deaf but that does not slow him down. He gets a burst of energy a few times a day and we play fetch in the apartment, which will only last 5min and he will go back to the couch. I also play hide and seek with him in my apartment and because he can't hear, I often win LOL. Whoever is going to be his forever family, they have to remember Cody is deaf. so by calling his name he will not respond and if he is sleeping try not to pet him. it will startle him. Instead, I blow little air to his body then he wakes up. He is fine with being left alone in the apartment.
Cody is definitely an indoor dog who will happily stay inside, watchTV and sleep and play. “
