Dear sweet little Stevie , such a typical French Bulldog in every way . He’s a bit clingy but we are working on that. His foster carer is a professional dog trainer so he is getting the very best training.
But we’d prefer someone who wasn’t working away from home full time.
He loves other dogs. Hes fine with kids, but maybe not living with them due to his training. Just so he gets all the attention .
A message from Stevie’s carer
“He’s doing well stills needs training around front door.
Walking well on lead. Now knows sit stay working on recall and drop
Loves to swim
Crate trading still in progress.
He’s ok when I go out, it’s just the initial leaving the house that’s he’s unhappy, but it it’s only about 5 minutes ……so he’s doing very well.
It’s only some male dogs he’s unhappy with , so best suited to a female companion or a very gentle boy dog. “
Update
“ Stevie is fun loving boy he loves to play with other dogs. He’s learning the rest button otherwise he can go go go. His new home will need to continue training as he does have some quirkiness, typical of his breed . He loves to sit in the park and watch the world go past he loves to swim and loves to cuddle on the couch. He needs a good leader to set boundaries. He now walks well on a lead and is doing very well With basic obedience of sits , stays and recalls. We’re working on the doorway manners as he doesn’t like to be left out. He’s unhappy when you leave the house however is now settling quickly and will sleep when you’re not home.
Human males can be a bit scary for him but will warmup to the right one. His ideal forever home would include regular walking preferably another Doggo and some one who will continue his training. He’s a big sweetheart and loves to zoom with his dog friends. “
