Hello everyone, my name is Monty and I am looking for my new home!

I am very friendly and have made a lot of doggy friends at shelter. If you have a dog at home, please speak to our staff to organise a match up to ensure we both get along as I would need a dog that can embrace my enthusiastic personality.

My new home would ideally be in a mature household with no children under 16. I know I'm a little guy as well as super cute (admit it, you think I'm cute!) but I do have a lot to learn. I can get very bouncy and a bit mouthy when excited. This also means I would need an owner who has experience to manage all of my energy, help me focus and continue with training me with basic life skills.

I like to have options of being both indoors and outdoors. Exploring the outside world is something I enjoy, especially lazing in the sun but I also would love to spend a lot of time indoors with my family. Please provide me a safe place to rest when I am not interacting with you - sometimes I just like to know you are there.

I require my future home to have a secure fenced yard as I can get worried if you're away for too long and find ways to get to you but that is only because I miss you. Make sure to leave me with lots of toys and enrichments like Kongs, if you plan on leaving me alone.
