Regal Bea!
- My name is Bea... but you can call me Queen Bea, thank you very much.
- I might be small but I have a big heart and a loud purr.
- I'm classed as a senior, but I'm still racing around doing zoomies, jumping on the sofa and trotting after my foster carers. I'm in fantastic health, nothing wrong with me!
- I love pats and being brushed and I love my fishy food.
- I have the sweetest personality when you get to know me. I'm a bit shy around new people and may run and hide until I feel comfortable to meet you. But boy, when I do, you won't be disappointed!
- I'm not a big fan of being picked up and would just prefer to sit quietly beside you on the sofa.
- Now the bed...that's a different story! I love sleeping next to my foster carers and I've learned not to take up the whole bed, and am (now) a good sharer. I also don't mind sleeping at night by myself, but in the morning I'll be ready to tell you everything that happened while we were apart.
- I'm not fussed about playing with toys; my foster carers have tried a few things (even things on strings!) but I just find them a bit scary. Now what I do love playing with is mats! You betcha! They're the best! I win every time, although the mat might disagree.
- I'm very happy being inside and love to sit on the window sill, feeling the wind through my fur on a clear day. I sit quite happily on the cat tower by the window checking out the garden and neighbourhood - and making sure no other pesky cat comes near my domain. I spend the majority of the day on my carer's bed, but don't believe the fake news about me not moving from my spot all day while they're at work. I move, but only ever so slightly. Don't tell them!
- I'm super clean and know how to use my litter box and you'll find me grooming myself at all hours of the day and night. A queen has to be clean!
- I'm the only queen in this house, so I'm not sure how I'd go with other cats, dogs or children. I do prefer a quiet house - loud noises like the vacuum cleaner freak me out and I go and hide but I'll come back out when it's quiet.
- My foster carers have noticed how I've really come out of my shell. I'm a very confident little lady, and a down-to-earth royal who will make a loving, low-maintenance companion for someone.
- So, all hail me! I'm looking forward to meeting you soon!

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit.
The adoption fee of $150.00 includes desexing, microchip (including transfer of ownership), flea and worm treatment, vaccination and vet check.
SAFE Busselton requests that all persons adopting a cat adhere to responsible containment practices. As per the current Cat Laws in WA we encourage people to keep their rescued cat as a permanent indoor cat or with access to a safe cat run. It is no longer desirable to allow your cat to wander onto adjoining properties. Confident cats can also be trained to walk on a harness and lead. We ask that owners be responsible and keep their adopted cat safe at all times so that you will have a long and loving life together. Information on cat enclosures can be found here: https://safe.org.au/catios
SAFE Busselton reserves the right to select adoptive homes based on ""best fit"" for the pet. Although all applications will be considered, being the first application will not necessarily provide an advantage as the adoption committee considers many factors when matching animals to their new home.
