About Chilli & Harley
MEET CHILLI PEPPER AND HARLEY!
These 2 are a bonded pair of young kitties that are desperate to find a home together! We fear they will be split up if a home cannot be found in time. Unfortunately, their owners circumstances have changed and she is unable to keep the boys for much longer before she has to move.
Chilli and Harley come with their whole setup including an outdoor enclosure if their new home has room and transport!
Chilli and Harley are both 3 years young, desexed, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations and parasite prevention, they are healthy young adults! Here's what their owner has to say about the boys -
- Chilli Pepper (grey cat) 953010004347740 is a gorgeous gentle boy who loves to smooch & be snuggled. He is friendly with another friendly cat or dog. He loves to get up high on anything to view his kingdom. He can be chatty at times & look for your attention, especially some lap / chest time with a paw cuddle around your neck & some occasional grooming from him. Zoomies are a frequent fun time as are lazing somewhere warm. He loves any viewing position to outside & garden. Playing with wands & feathers are the best & soft toys especially if laced with catnip. He is fond of being called Pepper & loves a Dine paste treat before bed. 💙
- Harley (tabby&white cat) 978101082545429 is a big soft boy full of love & head butts . He can be chatty & likes to investigate what your up to. He loves exploring especially cupboards or boxes , anything really he can get in. He is curios & playful with water in sinks. He loves to sleep with you especially on a soft blanket. He's not a big fan of being picked up but will still give you all the love he has. He loves window gazing & fresh air as much as somewhere warm to relax. He loves his zoomies & playing with string wands, feathers balls of paper & catnip laced toys. He is friendly with like a minded cat & dog.
They are both beautiful, friendly, affectionate & happy boys . I believe they would be most happy either together or with other friendly pets. They are both used to having regular human company. Pepper can be a little more panicked with loud noise. Sometimes they hide initially with visitors but we believe that's because our dog Lucy barks & gets too excited when we have visitors.
Harley and Chilli are indoor only cats for life however they do come with an outdoor enclosure if you would like to take it!

Thank you for your interest in a rescue cat! They can make the most wonderful friends and family members.
Our rescue cats have varied histories and stories and as such they each require a different home environment, we ask prospective adopters a series of questions aimed at making the perfect match so please dont be offended when asked questions. We do not adopt to a first in first serve basis and only adopt to the most suitable home possible. If you are outside Ballarat we ask that you make time to have a 30 minute video-chat with us and the kitty you are interested in so we can get to know you a little better and you can see the kitty in its home environment before coming up to Ballarat to adopt, if you are local then we hold a meet and greet at the foster home of the kitty. We only offer video chats and meet and greets to the most suitable homes.
All of our cats at Cat Lovers Ballarat are rehomed as strictly INDOOR ONLY cats and we ask that all prospective adopters only apply if they are capable and comfortable with this.
Please have patience with us as we go through all applications and make our decisions to move onto phase 2 and offer meet and greets, this can take days and sometimes a week to go through, you will be contacted whether you are successful or not.
