About Lyra
Introducing the sweetheart Lyra. Lyra is a Staffy x born 1st May 2021.
Lyra is a beautiful young lady who loves nothing more than spending time with people. She can get a bit boisterous and jumpy at times, so a home with older children would be beneficial for her so she can’t accidentally knock little ones over. When she wants to cuddle she literally melts into you.
Lyra can be a bit stiff and unsure when meeting new dogs, but soon settles and relaxes. She loved Goofy and would lick all over his face. Lyra did get cranky when another dog got in her face, but was otherwise very friendly. Lyra came into the facility with Diablo and they get very excited when they get to be together. If you would like an instant family these two are already connected with one another and could go to the same home. If you have another dog at home we will need to do a meet & greet with her to ensure they get along before going home.
Lyra was very focused on cats & pocket pets so we are recommending a home with no small animals like cats, chickens & rabbits.
Lyra shows no signs of separation anxiety at the facility and shows no signs of food aggression towards humans.
Lyra is such a loving girl who wants nothing more than a home she can call her own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Lyra, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Lyra’s adoption fee is $200, and this includes her desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registration. Lyra is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Lyra is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
