Inky.
This sweet baby Labrador x Kelpie girl is just a 5 month old puppy who seemingly hasn't had a great start to her short life but has come such a long way and is now ready to find her forever family.
She weighs in at 15 kilos so we feel she will most likely be a med size girl at full growth. She has put on much needed weight but has a tad more to go
Inky is currently in care with school ages kids and another dog and has really come out of her shell. She can be a little shy and skittish around new people but in short time this fades as she learns to trust and will come over for a cuddle
Ikny will need a loving and patient family who will take their time to let her settle in and be the truly loving sweet girl she is

Inky is an affectionate little girl who, once warmed up to you, doesn't leave your side.
TRAVEL IN THE CAR
Inky is happy going in the car. She was a little nervous at first but with a reassuring pat and kind words she settled down and was comfortable laying on her blanket.
FOOD
Inky has been having a diet of leaps n bounds puppy food and has no trouble eating it up although she's not a fast eater. She also likes an antler to chew on.
OUTSIDE
Inky is an access all areas pup. Outside she relaxes on her daybed. She much prefers inside with her humans though. Inside she happily sleeps in a crate covered at night time or on the end of her foster sister's bed. Left outside with her fur foster brother she is fine if you're out.
VISITORS.
Inky is Super excited to get visitors although can be nervous at first so a gentle approach is recommended.
She is great with kids and other dogs and loves pats and attention.
ENRICHMENT
Inky likes to lay on her day bed outside, or the floor pillows inside. She loves chasing balls, rope toys and playing with her fur foster brother. She is a fast learner and will thrive with a bit of training.
INDEPENDENCE
Inky is happy to stay at home with her foster brother. She plays happily with her toys. She likes being with people and her fur brother lounging on the couch.
WALKS
Inky will need lead training as she has been a little nervous on the lead. She is getting more and more confident though the more she trusts us. She certainly walks much better following another dog around for confidence.
OBEDIENCE
Inky responds to being called . She is a fast learner and with time and training he will be an amazing dog. She loves attention and training. She can sit and like treats when she does what you've asked.

INSIDE

Inky loves snuggles on your lap. She loves to be patted. She actually prefers being inside and is a lot more receptive and calm inside.
DOG SOCIALIZATION
inky is currently in care with another dog and loves playing with him. She will need to continue to be socialized with other dogs and will benefit from puppy school.
SLEEPING HABITS
Inky sleeps with her human at the end of her bed. She sleeps through the night and is very settled. She also is crate trained
TOILETING
We don't have a doggy door but we leave the door open for both the dogs to come in and out as needed. When inside inky is watched and taken out for toileting hourly. She has had a couple of accidents inside because the door was shut.
Outside all toileting has been on the grass.
IDEAL HOME
We believe inky deserves a home with a yard to run and play in and an outside spot to stay dry and warm.
We feel Inly is best suited to a home with another dog as she is learning her confidence through her foster dog brother and we would be seeking a med to larger male who is very gentle playful and well socialized
An active family or couple who would like to involve their new fur family member would see inky thrive.
A home that will allow Inky to be an inside / outside girl as funny enough she actually has more confidence with strangers in the home lol go figure
Inky is an absolute pleasure to be around and will make an amazing addition to any family.

A home with children are welcomed as she loves the kids but we are seeking dog savvy school ages please
