About Brandy
Brandy is a gorgeous tortie girl who has been approximated as being born in January this year! Still a baby herself 😿 She's almost done bringing up her kittens so we've put her up for pre-adoption in the hopes that she'll find a loving home of her very own. Born on a farm, Brandy is the most loving affectionate junior and her foster carer says if she could have more cats, Brandy would definitely be a keeper!
She's very much still a kitten and loves playing with wand toys! She's a very affectionate girl who loves giving head bumps while purring loudly to show you how much she loves you. She'll run to greet you at the door when you come home from work and will follow you around until you can sit down and let her snuggle on your lap.
Brandy has been:
- Untried with cats face to face but plays with resident cats under the door. She should be fine with other cats given the right introductions.
- Untried with dogs, however, has seen one through the window and has not been fussed. She should be fine with dogs if introduced properly.
- Tried with children 6 and 7 and loves them.
***To be kept strictly indoors only or with access to a secure enclosure for her own safety and well-being***
Brandy is approximately 9 months old (Approx DOB 26/1/22) and her adoption fee of $150 includes:
- Desexing
- 1st Vaccination
- Microchipping
- Flea and worming treatments up to date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of her current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys, and other goodies to get her started.
Brandy is available to meet ahead of her desexing appointment on the 30th of November at her foster carer's home at Coromandel Valley.
If you would like to meet her, please fill out the following application form (https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A) and her foster carer will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a time to meet her!
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
