About Soxie - 4 Year Old Wolfhound Collie X(On Hold)
Introducing your new best friend.
Meet Soxie, our 4 year old Wolfhound Border Collie X with a heart of gold.
Soxie is our gentle giant, who will happily perch with/on you while you sit back on your deck, sipping a cup of tea or Friday brew, or even trot after you while you potter in your garden.
Fantastic on the lead, a daily stroll (emphasis on the strroolll) will do. Soxie has a low exercise need and is happy to lounge around in good company. The occasional game of fetch every now and then leads to some zoomies around the yard with a big, goofy grin on display.
After not the best first 4 years of her life in a complicated environment, Soxie is nervous around different noises, environments and can be unsure of men at first. We have found due to Soxie's late entrance into a safe environment, Soxie is unsure of how to behave in the presence of other dogs and is very dog reactive and would be best as an only dog.
Soxie is house trained and low fur shed. A quick learner, Soxie knows her name, with a side of selective hearing, sit, wait and paw. Soxie is not food reactive and very polite at meals.
Soxie has lived with older children, but is untested with young children or pocket pets.
We think Soxie is one of the special ones and can see her, sitting back in the sun with her new family overlooking the yard, with that big, loving smile just loving her life.
She deserves it.
Soxie’s ideal home would include:
- Only Dog
- Secure Fencing
