About Sweetheart Sandy
Look at this pretty girl! Her eyes will melt your heart and when you see how snuggly she is she’ll melt it more!
Sandy is a kind hearted, loving girl who absolutely loves cuddles. This girl is very intelligent and is a bit of a Houdini so she would suit an apartment or somewhere where she can sit on the couch while you’re out and laze about during the day inside. Once she is settled into her new environment she is very well behaved and can be left alone in the house for hours without an issue. We ask in her new home she is left inside when you’re out as she will find a way out of the yard.
Sandy needs someone who can leave her alone in small bits and build up to a whole day. This shouldn’t take more then a week or two, once she feels at home she is great at being left alone while you’re at work. For this reason we are asking no full time workers apply unless they can take some time to build Sandy up to this.
Sandy ADORES her humans and is very eager to please. Whoever adopts her will have an incredible bond with his sweet scruffy girl. Her foster family adore her and she has been a beautiful companion to have in the home.
Sandy spends most of her time lounging on the couch or by your side if you’re at home.
Currently she is toilet trained and knows basic commands like sit, shake and lie down. She is very responsive to commands!
Sandy is an easy to please girl, she needs a good walk everyday and after this she is very low key around the house.
Sandy is great with other medium to large dogs. She isn’t however fond of very small dogs, and needs to be kept on leash when out and about. She would happily live with another dog her size.
No cats at all please!
She is a very gentle dog who has no issue with kids and would be very sweet towards all members of the family.
