My name is Buddy Smith, and I am the happiest and most chilled big boofa you could possibly want.

I might have been found and rescued at a really low point in my life, full of ticks and wanting a good meal, but you'd never know that when you meet me. I don't dwell on the past and am just so very happy ALL of the time! I LOVE life. I love dogs and I love people. I love everything!

Nothing new really phases me, not even the vacuum or the coffee grinder. I even took to the beach like a dog to water, although I'm not sure why I can't drink the ocean when it looks just like the stuff at home. I tried to bite the waves to get to the bottom of this, but it hasn't given me any more answers.

In my future life I'd be happiest if I either had a dog friend or a human that was home a lot of the time. I love playing with my foster sister. We wrestle, tug and run around together. The only thing I can't really do is jump; it's not in my genes. So you never really have to worry about me getting out. And apart from that, why would I ever want to be elsewhere, once I've found you? I am much more likely to follow you from room to room all day, looking at you adoringly.

You really can't go wrong with me. I get on with absolutely everyone, already have excellent recall off lead, am calm and collected around the home, and settle into new places in a heartbeat. I've even lived with a cat before!

All I need in return is your love and good company, some cuddles, good food, and a good measure of play time and exercise every day. My own family!
