About Tessa
Hi, my name is Tessa! I'm booked in for my vet work on the 22nd so my foster carer says that I can have people come and meet me so I can find my furever family!
I was found in the middle of the road by a very nice lady after I was almost hit by a car. I have no idea how I got there cause I was all alone and my mum was nowhere to be found.
I don't mind though, I've loved being in foster care! I loooove all the toys I have to play with and am a bundle of energy. I also love finding spots to hide. My foster carer's wardrobe shelves are my favourite place to sleep the day away. I like a pat too, but only when I've worn myself out from running around the room playing! My foster carer says I'm a cheeky little monkey that has a very loud purr.
My dream home is one where I have lots of toys, places to climb and someone to give me all the attention I deserve! I don't mind if I have another cat friend or not. I did have a cat friend and was great with her as she was just as playful as me. She found her home though, so I'm by myself now. I don't mind, as long as I have tons of toys to keep me occupied!
Tessa has been:
- Tried with cats and loves them
- Untried with children (will be fine with children as long as they're gentle with her)
- Untried with dogs (however, is young enough that she'll adapt if introduced properly)
***To be kept strictly indoors only or with access to a secure enclosure for her own safety and wellbeing***
Tessa is approximately 8 weeks old (approx DOB: 12/09/22) and her adoption fee of $200 includes:
- Desexing
- 1st Vaccination
- Microchipping
- Flea and worming treatments up to date of adoption
- Litter training
- Socialisation
- An adoption pack with some of her current food, a carrier blanket, a set of toys, and other goodies to get her started.
Tessa is available to meet at her foster carer's home at Morphett Vale ahead of her desexing appointment on the 22nd. Please note that she will be available to go home on the 25th.
If you would like to meet her, please fill out the following application form
(https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A) and her foster carer will get back to you as soon as possible to arrange a time to meet her!
Adoption details
Kittens and cats are adopted through their foster homes. Potential adopters are encouraged to contact Hisses to Purrs by phone, email or Facebook to arrange a meet and greet with the kitten they are interested in.
All kittens and cats are microchipped, vaccinated, desexed and parasite treated prior to adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Pre-adoptions are available for adopters who wish to adopt a specific kitten or cat who has not reached weight for desexing, or who are awaiting their vet appointment. A minimum deposit can be made to pre-adopt a kitten awaiting their vet work. Kittens and cats remain in the care of Hisses to Purrs until desexing has occurred and in the case of female kittens and cats, until 5 days after desexing to give them time to heal.
All kittens and cats adopted through us must be kept indoors or have access to a secure cat enclosure. This is non-negotiable for the safety and health of our kittens and cats.
If you wish to adopt a cat or kitten, please fill out the adoption application form https://forms.gle/hadqmP3cVaDLviC9A
