Sweet Leyla, as far as we know, she has never really had a place to call home in her 8 years. The only positive interaction with humans was with the lady who fed her morning and night everyday for years.

She’s a shy girl, but has a huge heart. She’s not aggressive, in fact she’s quite the gentle little Miss.

When she feeds directly from your hand she is exceptionally gentle and soft, although if you have any roast chicken and she smells it, she is very quick to snap it all up before anyone else can. Even if there isn’t anyone else around! And she will just pop up out of nowhere when she smells it !

She loves rubbing up against her scratcher and lounging around in her little cat cave beds. Layla has a no fuss kind of personality, very little phases her and she’s happy with the simple pleasures! She is quite shy and passive and at times timid with new people until she is comfortable with you and her surroundings. She is an independent one cat home kind of cat, as she tends to shut down and not want to have to compete with other cats around. She just needs someone to give her a chance to be able to really spread her wings and show her new family just how special and sweet she really is. She would suit a home with no young children and no other pets. Someone who has the patience to really show her what love, safety and how good it is to live indoors with you.
