About Archie
Thank you to you all for waiting for this sweet little boy to be cleared for adoption, he was surrendered into Shepherd's Lantern due to the unfortunate change in his family's circumstances. We at SLRescue wanted to be absolutely sure that the transition from his original family to his new one be gentle and caring. We take our responsibility of care very seriously and the little man went directly to our farm where we could see any behaviours or training needs. We also wanted his healthcare to be optimal and felt it best that he wait until completely healed from desexing before we find him a furever family.
Archie is a typical active big puppy, needs to be exercised or plenty of space to run around on. He does love having other doggy friends and must be involved in his new family's activities.
He has a generous and loving disposition and will need ongoing general affirmation training like every teenage boy. He has a gift for his toys that magically explode and we know this is a passing growth phase.
We have put our hearts and souls into finding the bestest circumstances for our charges, foster families and adoptive family.
You may think we are being over cautious but we know of the deep sensitivity of the breed and do not believe in massive number turnout
