Atticus

Atticus is a mostly indoor boy who makes sure to patrol the backyard once a day- you never know when a mouse might be sneaking about! He is generally quiet but can be quite the chatty boy when he is hungry. His favourite food is good old Coles brand dry food- nothing fancy for this gentleman. If you want to keep your dinner all to yourself Atticus is the boy for you, as so far he has shown no interest in any food from the kitchen, fresh, raw, or cooked. While he can’t be tempted by your human food, he loves to chew on the grass while patrolling outside and drinks from a rainwater bucket while he’s out there.

Atticus enjoys the simple pleasures of life, like sleeping and watching the world go by from an open door or window. If you sit down he’ll be there in a moment to sit with you, so make sure you leave room for him on the couch! He is a great sleeper, and will not be awake and exploring during the night. He is very good at using his litter box, though if there is an odour present he won’t want anything to do with it- much like his human companions!

While Atticus hasn’t had any feline friends to live with before he may be a suitable companion for another calm cat. However, he doesn’t like the sound of living with dogs and he would love his humans to be home more often than not.
