About Sadie
*In foster care in Berowra, Sydney*
Sweet Sadie's needs are simple - a sunny window where she can sit and watch the world go by, a nice backyard or a courtyard for when she's in the mood for some grass between her toe beans, and a loving owner who appreciates her independent spirit!
The beautiful, low-key kitty would make a great companion for a full-time worker, as she's purrfectly content to chill out on her own and doesn't demand lots of attention. (And when she does want pats - or food! - she'll just follow you around patiently until you oblige.)
Like all Maggie's pets, Sadie is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have a fenced-in garden where I can snooze the day away if I feel so inclined. (I'm a huge fan of the great outdoors - I'm not even bothered by rain or a thunderstorm!) A few toys would be nice, too :) My new person, couple or family should know that I'm a gentle giant, not prone to scratching or biting, but I might give you a little nibble once I've had enough pats.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm prone to the occasional zoomies like any other cat, but my default mode is definitely lounge lizard! I do adore a good grooming with my brush - don't worry, I'll let you know when the time is right :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't had much interaction with kids since coming into foster care, but children aged 10+ would probably be the best match for me as they should be able to tell when I need my own space.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I don't get along with other cats unfortunately, and I'm not really sure about dogs. I might be OK with an older, cat-savvy dog?

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
