About Dougie
This is Dougie, a 2.5 year old male Cattle Dog with a cute stumpy tail. He’s quick to learn and eager to show off his skills!
Like a good cattle dog he is loyal and affectionate. He loves his walks and playing fetch or the tug toy but his absolute favourite thing is a car ride. On a lazy afternoon he loves to lie at your feet and take all the pats he can get, giving affectionate kisses in return.
Dougie is comfortably toilet trained and crate trained, sleeping through the night. He is good at sit, stay, lying on his mat and waiting politely for food and at doors. Dougie is a very perceptive dog, always knowing what you want him to do.
Dougie is currently working on his recall and loose lead walking, in which he is making great strides but will require dedicated training.
Dougie is ready for his forever home! Dougie is living with other dogs in foster care and would be happy to have a calm older doggie companion, but if he is the only dog, that would be fine with him too. He would not be able to share his home with cats or pocket pets and would not suit a family with young children.
If Dougie sounds like the dog for you, fill out the adoption forms so you can snag this ball of fun!
Dougie is located in NSW.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
