About Buster
Buster is a small and playful 1-year-old kelpie mix boy with the most beautiful, happy and affectionate nature, who loves going on outdoor adventures.
Weighing less than 15 kilos, this agile little pocket rocket loves to play and explore. He's great in the car, is loyal and devoted to his humans, and would make a fantastic sidekick for an active forever family.
Once the adventures are over, Buster has a brilliant off switch, and nothing makes him happier than cuddles on the couch.
He is toilet trained and sleeps through the night. He can sit, drop and shake, and has been learning to walk nicely on lead.
In foster care, Buster has been having a great time playing with his young foster siblings, while being respectful of the cranky one's warnings. He does need slow introductions to other dogs, but would enjoy the chance to socialise with friends. In his forever home he would be best matched with a playful and easy going female fur-sis, who doesn't mind if he steals all the toys, or as an only dog whose humans are home more often than not.
When he first came into care, Buster was a bit uncertain of new people who were too forward with him. This is now a thing of the past and when given the chance to suss them out in his own time, he comes around in no time. For this reason, he is not suited to inner city living, and would prefer a home in quiet suburbia or in the country.
Buster has been growing in confidence each day, and is looking for humans who will continue to help him build his confidence. Small children might be too rowdy for him, so he is hoping for a family without children or with teenagers. He is happiest when close to his people and must be allowed inside as part of the family and included in their daily lives.
If this sounds like you, send us an application with details about the home you can offer this cuddly boy.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
