About Oona
I'm trying a new home to see if i like it. It is hard to imagine a cuter, happier little bundle than oona yet this gorgeous little creature was destined to die in the pound because she has a slight congenital deformity in her back legs. A deformity that causes her no discomfort in the slightest and its manifestation is simply that her back legs don’t straighten and she waddles rather than walks. does this slow her down? no way! oona races up and down the back stairs hard on the heels of her foster carer – she isn’t going to let the food source out of her sight and there might be treats around! oona is such a delight: she is happy, bright, loves her food, easy to groom (something that needs to be done regularly with pomeranians) and loves to snuggle up in bed. despite being really tiny, nothing seems to disconcert her and she was totally at ease coming into a household of one large lazy cat and five other dogs, all of whom were very curious to sniff out this newcomer. did she worry? not a bit. . . She just wanted to know which food bowl was hers and where the softest beds were. at time of listing, oona has been with her foster carer for six days and she is proving to be a very easy going little miss. she runs around with the other dogs, investigating whatever is going on at any point, and has been seen rushing out onto the deck to chase off those pesky magpies and doesn’t seem to realise that those magpies are about her size. although she definitely needs the comfort of knowing where her foster mum is, oona has slotted into the family routine with barely a ripple. oona would like a home with someone who is around to indulge her every need, who understands her breed and size requirements and probably has some other little dogs so she can still join in doggy games. oona is a house dog and must have access to inside at all times.
oona comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $350 and is not available for adoption outside nsw.
