About Ziggy
Hello friends, meet this cream-coloured adonis, Ziggy. He sure is a feast for the eyes and has a charming (dog-like) personality. When the doorbell rings, he runs to see who it is, and he’s happiest around you. He’s a bit of a flirt that likes to engage in conversation. Most importantly, Ziggy wants you to play with him, rub his belly, and show his gratefulness by loudly purring away.
Ziggy likes to carry his black toy rat around in his mouth and occasionally drop it in your lap. He absolutely loves to play and will chase small toys all day if you let him. When he’s hungry, he’ll communicate this to you by meowing, and when you ask him, ‘what’s wrong, Zig?’, he licks his lips.
He connects with you by bringing you his favourite toys, rubbing his face on you and rolling over on the ground for a belly rub. Ziggy shadows you around - even to the toilet - whilst filling you in with all the goss.
Ziggy thrives on your companionship but prefers a home as the one and only pet. Ideally, he will go to a calm household, where you are home more often than not and can provide outdoor access or an enclosure for his sunbake sessions.

Medical notes
Ziggy had gum disease as a kitten, which was cured by removing his teeth. He grazes on Hills Perfect Weight dry food and Hills wet food and has no trouble eating. His feline friend passed away recently, and his spraying issues triggered Ziggy’s spraying too. After his passing, it looks like Ziggy is returning to normal, and his spraying issues are improving.
Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
