Chai

I’m Chai! And I am looking for a new home after arriving at Lort Smith with a broken leg. Lucky, I did not require surgery and was able to heal in a foster home. I still need to gradually increase my exercise in this leg, so need to be gentle on it for now.

I can be a little apprehensive around young children, so it’s best if my new home does not have children younger than 12 years. I absolutely love to play and have exuberant amounts of energy, so an active family who is able to keep up with me would be amazing!

I am able to be re-homed with a calm and confident dog who is able to show me the ropes a little. I haven’t been around a cat before, and I don’t think I am suited with the amount of energy I have.

I would prefer if my new owners were home more often than not as I can get a little anxious when I’m alone.
