Meet Coco. She thinks she is a submarine: she likes to put her whole head under water and blow bubbles. That’s not all she likes - she likes soft toys, long walks (which she does beautifully on a halti), cuddles and belly scratches from her humans.
Whilst Coco is generally quiet she will ‘speak’ to you when you grab her lead for a walk. She does have a tendency to want to guard her yard at night. So she can get some sleep and switch off her foster carers have crate trained her. She is quite clever and can sit like a good girl.
She’s gone through lots of changes recently and deserves a home full of love and stability. Coco did feel the need to protect her food from doggie friends when she first came to care, but with work she has come a long way. She now takes treats with her foster brothers and is more than happy to wait her turn whilst they are fed. She is extremely gentle with her humans and food and will delicately take treats from your hand if allowed.
She can sometimes find environments with lots of strange dogs overwhelming, but has been working through this with gentle introductions. She loves to play with other dogs in the right environment. Coco lives in harmony with two medium male dogs although would also be happy as an only pooch so long as she continues to socialise (for a shy girl she’s a real social butterfly). A forever family that is dedicated to continue working with her will enjoy the endless loyalty of this beautiful girl.
Coco is $350 to adopt and comes desexed, vet-checked, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, and given worm/tick/flea preventatives.
