About Sunny (On Trial)
Sunny is one of the smallest dogs we've had in rescue. He's a 10 month old, mini fox terrier. He loves to snuggle and will take all the cuddles you can give. Though young, he's not hyperactive like a puppy. He plays very well with his foster mum's other two small dogs, one male and one female, and they all have good fun sharing their toys. Sunny is good on the lead and will not run away when off the lead. He is not suitable to a home with children under 9 years old because they might be too rough with such a little dog. He has started basic obedience training and will sit, stay, sit up, and sit up and beg by waving his arms. If it's dark and you turn on the light suddenly, he will cover his eyes with his paws!
he's travels well in the car. I could see him as a great little travelling companion for a retired couple seeing australia in a caravan. You could pop him in a carry bag and take him anywhere. Sunny's not a fussy eater. He is housetrained, and will go outside if you let him out. He'll use newspaper or a puppy pad for toileting if he can't get outside. He has a short, easy care coat which just requires the occasional bath. He's happy to go outside to explore the yard or go for a walk but he's definitely an inside dog. He needs be inside when people are home and to be part of the family. He sleeps inside. He doesn't fret when left home alone. Sunny becomes very loyal and devoted to his family and can be very protective of his home and people. He makes a good little alarm dog and will warn you when someone is approaching the house. Sunny's foster mum calls him buddy but we've renamed him sunny because we already have 2 other buddy's available for adoption. "sunny" seems to suit his happy, sunshiny, personality. *** please see more photos and videos of sunny, and some of our other pets, at http://tinyurl.
