Storm

Introducing Storm a super sweet mixed breed lady who is approximately 10 months old.

Storm arrived at Ollie’s Legacy from an interstate pound so we know very little about her background. We don’t know what breed(s) she is but we are guessing she has some Rhodesian ridgeback, staghound or mastiff in her gene pool. However this is purely speculative. Storm currently weighs 26kgs and whilst she still has a bit more weight to put on we don’t think she will grow much taller.

Storm is an absolute darling who loves everyone she meets and in turn everyone she meets loves her. She loves cuddles and leaning on her peoples’ legs for pats. Storm adores spending time with her foster family and being involved in their lives.

She is eager to please and has been very responsive to the basic training she has had while in foster care. So far Storm has learnt to sit, drop and shake hands. She walks well on a leash and knows to sit politely and wait for her meals. Storm is great in the car strapped in safely with her doggy harness.

Storm would love an active home where she will be walked at least once per day and have all sorts of fun and activities to keep her occupied. She is absolutely wonderful with other dogs and would really love a doggy sibling to play with. Storm loves to cuddle up with her foster brother (a Labrador) and is his shadow. She would benefit from having a well adjusted and social dog to learn from and who will help build her confidence in new situations.

Storm was mistreated prior to being rescued and in new situations she can be timid and unsure. She absolutely loves meeting new people though and adores her family. With the love and reassurance of her foster family she is coming along in leaps and bounds and her past trauma will soon be a distant memory.

Storm hasn’t met any children whilst in our care but we believe she will be fine with kids who are savvy with big dogs.

She is not suited to a home with cats or pocket pets.

Storm has so much love to give and will make a loyal and adoring companion for a very lucky family.

Please note that part of the adoption process includes a meeting with Storm
and your current dog to ensure they are a good match and they get along.

Storm has been vet checked, vaccinated, desexed, microchipped: 956000011334606 and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. Her adoption fee is $600. RE161465.
