Basil is a sensitive good boy best suited to an adult only home with no other animals. His one true love (aside from his humans) is toys- he nudges them to you so you can throw them to him. He's also happy playing with toys to pass the time- they're definitely the key to building a good relationship with the lovely Basil.
Basil is looking for a new owner who can keep up with his energy and quirks.
He will thrive in a home environment that is quiet and predictable, and with people who are willing to help him become the best version of himself. In the shelter has has been working on his nervousness around strangers and new dogs, so Basil will need his people to continue taking time to build up positive interactions with things he finds scary out of the shelter.
