Charlie is a friendly, playful, energetic Kelpie cross, easily winning the attention of all who meet him.
Charlie loves running, fetch and playing with humans and other dogs alike. He enjoys the company of dogs and will play for prolonged periods of time with a buddy who is also active. As he is still a younger dog, so is very energetic in his playing and will need others to let him know when to calm down and remind him not to jump.
When not playing Charlie is very quiet, calm and keen for a cuddle, pats or some solo time exploring the backyard.
Charlie will need regular walks and toys to play with. He loves to be in the water and after a walk (or during) will often walk into the shallows to lay down on a hot day. In the afternoon he will happily keep himself entertained by playing or just laying by your side.
Charlie is keen to please and will readily be by your side and happy to be trained, mostly motivated by your attention and not as much by treats (not that he doesn’t love a good treat!). He already knows how to sit, lay down, stay (when not distracted) and is excellent on the lead.
Charlie is your typical working dog pup that can be a bit mouthy/nippy, he will require a confident owner that applies firm boundaries to help him know his place in the family pack.
Charlie wins the hearts of all who meet him and enjoys new adventures alongside his human. If you’re looking for an active, intelligent dog, Charlie is for you.
Charlie is $350 to adopt, desexed, microchip, C5 vaccinated, and given flea tick and worm preventatives.
