Meet Storm. She's truly exceptional and is the cat you will talk about for the rest of your life. And if you're up for a little whirlwind who always knows her mind do read on...
She is an energetic and very confident girl (some would say highly strung!). She’s a curious little explorer, and always wants to see what you’re doing and NEEDS to be involved. She has a very strong personality and always makes it clear what she does or doesn’t like. This may involve (gently!) biting you if she doesn't agree with what you are doing though it's never nasty.
She's an individual. With a kink in her tail and nick in her ear she is also physically one of a kind.
She doesn't connect with people lightly but when she does it is serious. She is a cat that bonds incredibly closely with her human or humans. If you've been gone all day she wants to literally hug you and will glue herself to your chest purring her head off.
While she is a tornado....she can also be a warm sunny day...she can be quite needy and want cuddles under your chin. She is incredibly affectionate but it's in a unique Storm way.
When she’s finally tuckered out, she will happily fall asleep in any position as you will see in her photos.
Storm needs to find her person or people. They should be someone who understands her....but also good with establishing boundaries. She is VERY smart but sassy and some would say rather naughty. She could probably be harness trained as she's so confident and clicker training might work well for her.
She would suit a home that can provide her with a lot of stimulation and attention. A single person, family with teenage kids + or childfree couple who are wanting a feline child would be ideal.
Other cats, she would probably prefer to be your only one. We say a cautious yes to a relaxed cat who won't challenge her being boss...she feels like a small fish in a big pond with lots of other cats in her foster home. This girl definitely wants to be the big fish! Storm seems fine with dogs as it's obvious to her that they are far inferior.
A note from Storm's foster carer:
This girl hasn't had a lot of interest and while I know she won't be for everyone she is one of the most exceptional cats I have ever met. The love and hilarity that come with this little girl are like nothing else. She's definitely not easy and in the beginning she REALLY did not like me...now letting her go is going to be so difficult. But we are a multi-cat household and it's just not the right fit for her. She is incredible....if a little unhinged!
