About Melvin
Hi my name is Melvin and I’m looking for my new home. I’m a kelpie and I’m a bit nervous to meet people because I haven’t really had many people around me but my foster family has been teaching me that the human kind are not so bad. I am getter better with time and I’m looking for someone to take the time to show me how to make friends. I do get excited when I get to know you and get a little jumpy so I’m trying to learn how to be excited and not jump up. I sleep inside my crate all night and spend the daytime outside. I have been introduced to a few different dogs that have made me feel pretty nervous but I’m not angry towards them just a little scared. My new mate is a boxer and boy do we just love zooming around the yard!
My ideal home would be with a family that has a good sized yard that I can run around in, secure fences and with people who are home more often than not to continue to teach me about the world.
I currently live with a family who have a child aged 7 and I love to follow her around everywhere she goes.
I’m eager to learn and really want to be part of a family.
Adoption details
**PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**
Due to an anticipated high volume of applications the adoption process is outlined below:
1. You must complete our Adoption Application Form by following the link to our website: https://www.all4pawsdogrescue.com.au/forms.html NOT THE PET RESCUE ENQUIRY BUTTON
2. Include as much information as possible and it is never a case of "first in best dressed" when we are choosing the most appropriate new home. Matching an animal with a family is based on lifestyle, family members, attitudes to pet ownership and the personality of the pet.
3. Due to the number of applications we receive all correspondence is through email and if your application is short listed we will either call you to discuss it further and possible invite you to a meet and greet.
