NOTE: You are unable to meet Raven until/unless you have been notified that you are a successful applicant. An adoption cannot be approved unless you are able to come to the shelter to meet Raven in person and bring any dogs you currently have with you.
What I need in my new home:
• Daily walks, trips to the park or beach, playtime in the backyard
• Further training with basic doggie manners
• To be allowed inside with my family
• A doggie playmate would be great, if not then lots of socialising with other dogs
• I like both friendly male and female dogs but will retaliate if they are to full on or mean to me
• Secure Fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent)
• Lots of toys and mental stimulation
• Lots of love and attention
• Being a social and playful pupper I would love to go to doggy daycare
• I have lots of energy so an active family is a must
• Being an active breed I have a lot of energy so an active family is a must!
Things that I don't want in my new home:
• To be left alone in the backyard without any interaction
• Not to be allowed inside with my family
• Never to go on a walk or rides in the car
• Cats or small animals as I may find them fun to chase and bark at
My best features:
• Happy & smiley Wiggle bum
• Very people orientated and looks to handler for direction
• I can sit
• I love attention and having snuggles with my humans
• Happy to hang out with other friendly dogs
• Social butterfly
• I love attention, hugs, kisses & head scratches
• I like to Chase & pounce tennis balls, I will most likely be more interactive with toys in a home environment
Where I need to improve / Training required
• I can be a bit bouncy when excited -training should stop this
• I can be strong on the lead - training and walking me in a halti or harness may stop this
• I may show signs of anxiety when first left alone in the backyard but i do settle. Leaving me some enrichment toys/treats may help this as well as having another dog for company.
• I am social with other friendly dogs however I will react if they are too full on or reactive to me, further socialisation is recommended.
Adoption details
All adoptions are through an application process.
You will find the link to the online application form in each animal’s profile.
Preferred applicants will be phoned to book an appointment to meet the dog or cat.
Once the adoption has been finalised, unsuccessful applicants will be notified via email.
Please allow up to 2 weeks for adoptions to be finalised and emails sent.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
