About Gus ** 2nd Chance Cat Rescue**
Assisted Rehoming! Source number EE 145 474
Gus is such an outgoing cheeky little boy. He is always up to playing and zooming around the house. He is so adventurous, he is usually the first one to investigate new things. He is very confident and very laid back, so much so that he is almost bombproof, his still not too sure about the vacuum!
It doesn’t take much for Gus to come out and be himself around strangers and in new environments. He loves other cats and warms up to them very easily, he just wants all the love in the world from whoever is willing to give it. He will always have to check out what you are doing but really he is just trying to smooch up to you to get some cuddles and scratches. He is so playful but is also the biggest smooch. He loves cuddling up to you and his litter mates and having a snooze. His purr is so comforting and cute as it’s just a little bit high pitch. You will be able to tell when he is content because his purr is so loud. And when he finds a comfy bed or blanket to snooze he has this silly half dazed look as he kneeds the soft bed/blanket before eventually tucking in.
Gus is great in the carrier and also will settle down if placed in a confined playpen or crate if you need him to settle or out of your way when you have the front door open. Gus had never really been outside, he was born out in the cold and rain but came into care a few days later so he is very much an indoor cat. He would be better suited to a home with another younger playful cat, or to be adopted with one of his siblings.
