Hi! My name's Maddie and I'm a sweet older lady who is looking for a home who understands my breed and the things us Beagles enjoy doing like scent-based activities. I already know a fair few tricks- sit, down, stay and leave it! I have been very well socialised with other dogs in my time and enjoy the company of other dogs, although since I can be prone to resource guarding, it would be best for me to be the only pet in the home. I am playful and enjoy tug of war and would love to be included in your daily activities while you're out of the house, where possible! I am very friendly with all people however I do bark at people who I haven't been introduced to before and can be a little boisterous and over excited with my loved ones as well. Younger children may find this intimidating- an adult only or home with older children may be well-suited to me! I would love it if my new family spent lots of time at home with me, took me for plenty of walks and had lots of things for me to do so that I don't get bored.
