Ryder

Friendly little spotty-dotty Ryder - her tail is always wagging! She is not shy, she wants to meet everybody and everything - especially kids, they get a full-body wag! School pick ups are the best! Very affectionate - loves belly rubs and sleeping next to you, lying sprawled out upside down on your lap, but she is also independent - happy to explore on her own, but she will check in regularly to see where you are and what you are up to. Up for all adventures you care to go on, or will happily snooze at your feet. Ryder and her sister play very rambunctiously together and with other dogs, once she gets to know them. They wrestle wildly all day long, fake snapping and grabbing neck fur and legs, rolling over and over. She would probably not suit timid dogs, as she is quite dominant for her size. Ryder can be a little bit choosey when it comes to meeting new dogs and understanding around this will be needed by the new owners. She is very gentle with kids and people though.
She is training on a Halti-style collar and lead and has improved with this and makes walking easier for both Ryder and her human. Ongoing training will be required though. She is extremely food motivated so makes training easy and she learns quickly! Ryder has a high prey drive and enjoys balls and toys, but also chasing things she shouldn't and will not be good with cats or birds. Likes water - kiddie pools, dams, troughs, beach, creeks. Ryder would suit many family situations - full time or part time workers, kids or no kids, a doggy pal (if suitable at meet and greet) or on her own. She needs an active lifestyle as she has a lot of energy. A very sweet, lovely girl, we adore her!
