About Marley
Marley is a lovely four year old German Shepherd whose owner has to move into a unit and can't take her with them.
Marley is a quieter dog who just wants to be with her human family.
Marley would need a home where she can connect with her family and show how much love she can give to her humans. She is happy to sit on a bed near you but will also prefer to be on the sofa next to you.
Marley has passed the silly puppy stage and is looking for a home with either a single person or a couple that have experience with the German Shepherd breed and have the time and commitment for this young dog.
We want her to go to a home where she will be an integral family member. She is not suitable to go to a home with young children due to her size.
She needs to go to a home with a family who have knowledge of the breed and have owned a German Shepherd or another large breed dog.
She has not been tested with cats or pocket pets.
Intelligence, loyalty, love and companionship is what Marley will give in abundance when she connects and builds that trust with her new owner.
If you understand the nature of the German Shepherd, have recently owned this breed, and are looking for a companion dog then please consider Marley.
If you think you can give me a new home please contact us by selecting "Enquire about Marley".
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive to Windsor with your family and any dogs to meet Marley. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Marley is microchipped and desexed and will be vaccinated and heart worm tested before going to her new home.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
