About Lizzy ^^Dandy Cat Rescue^^
This is Lizzy, a true survivor in every sense of the word. In her short life Lizzy has known a lot of suffering – but things are really looking up for this girl.
Lizzy was kept in a cage for most of her life and was skinny and sick when she was rescued. She has had to learn about life outside a cage, and it has taken a few months for her to adjust. But boy does she love being able to run and play now!!!
Lizzy has shown us that she is exceptionally smart and she will play fetch like a dog until your arm gets tired from throwing the mouse. It is hilarious and it is her favourite thing to do.
We are looking for someone to help Lizzy take the next step and give her a home that suits her needs. She needs a home where she is the only pet (no other cats or dogs please) and where she will get lots of one-on-one attention. Lizzy gets very attached to her person.
Lizzy would be great in an small apartment or a house. She is fantastic company for a person on their own or a couple, but she would also do really well in a family with older children. She is very much like a dog and will follow you around and chirp at you to give her attention and play with her.
Lizzy may require vet visits for her irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), which she developed during her earlier life of neglect.
Lizzy uses the litter well but does get occasional diarrhea from her IBS. An oral medication fixes it right up.
Lizzy is very easy to love and one of the most engaging and intelligent kitties you will ever meet. Your time will mean the whole world to her.
