About Shaz
*In foster care in Glebe, Sydney*
Shaz is a super-friendly, super sweet, voluptuous gal who is truly very endearing. Shaz makes fast friends with pretty much every human and dog she meets and has been the office mascot whilst in foster care, accompanying her foster mum to work where she spends the day pottering from person to person, getting pats and snoozing under everyone desk.
Shaz is an awesome dog, she would suit a retired couple, just as much as she'd suit a young family but what is important to note is that Shaz struggles being left alone and requires human company more often than not.
Like all Maggie's pets, Shaz is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have lots of human company - I love people of all shapes, ages and sizes! If someone is home most of the time that would be just perfect :)
I'm also great with other dogs!
I do get a bit anxious and bark when my special person leaves me alone, so I'll need ongoing training around this issue.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Low to medium energy - whilst I do like a really decent daily stroll and need it for my health and wellbeing, I'm inherently a potato who likes to snooze by your side more often than not. I love to play and will enjoy a family that can play tug or fetch with me on the daily.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm very good with children, love playing, and have been very gentle in my interactions with kids while on walks and at our local cafe with my foster carer!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm great with other dogs while on my daily walks, and with my little doggy friend at my former foster home. I can be a little hesitant if dogs approach me in a very boisterous way, but if they are a bit too much, I just continue on my walk with my foster mum. I'm not into drama!
I am not a fan of cats.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
