Hi, my name's Dixie, I have a heart of gold and I can't wait to be your new family member!

I'm a happy, energetic and social girl so make sure you have good fencing because I can be bouncy! I will be your loyal companion to the end and love my training if you could continue it. I've been told I have a bit of a fan club here and even though they will be sad to see me go they know it's for the best so I have a yard I can run around in all the time.

When I first came here I had a badly injured hind leg and required orthopedic surgery. I am healing super well but I will need my new family to encourage me to do lots of exercise. I would love a family that would take me on walks and runs, do hill walking and make sure I don't develop any muscle wastage. The way to my heart is a good ball! If I could fit a hundred balls in my mouth at once, I would!

I can't wait to run like the wind with you but also settle down and have chill out time and watch TV with you.
