Lila - Located in Coburg

Little Lila’s gorgeous eyes are a window to her sweet little soul. She has beautiful soft fur and an almost cherubic little round face. Such a pretty girl. As you can see in the video, she loves to play. Lila enjoys chasing her feather wand, the ball tower and jumping up to the very top of the scratching post. Her favourite toy is a little chirpy bird toy, which she carries around in her mouth, taps it continuously to make it squeak, then rolls around with it clenched in her paws. So cute and so much fun! She is also particularly fond of relaxing in her window hammock or lying on the couch beside her carer. Lila happily settles at night time for a sleep on her foster carers bed and always greets her carer with lots of purrs and cuddles in the morning.

Like many humans, pretty little Lila needs time to warm up to new surroundings and new people. A nice little igloo bed provides a perfect safe place for her to retreat if she needs to. She is learning to trust humans and will need a patient owner who can slowly gain her trust and understand that this can take some time. Lila’s new best friend can reassure her with ‘speaking’ to her in the cat language of love by looking into her gorgeous mesmerizing eyes and slow blinking her. She will know she is loved and slow blink her new best friend back as she learns she can trust you. When she feels safe, Lila loves pats and will come to you when called.

Lila would like a home with a friendly cat to snuggle up with but she would also be just as happy on her own as long as her humans give her plenty of playtime. Lovely Lila doesn’t really need all that much. A bit of patience and gentle kindness will allow this gorgeous girl to be the best cat she can be and thrive in her loving new home. Please consider meeting Lila and being her new best friend.

- you have the agreement of all members of the household to adopt a Cat
- you have your landlords permission to keep a pet. More information on what to do is available at https://www.consumer.vic.gov.au/housing/renting/applying-for-a-rental-property-or-room/pets-and-renting
- you have all the necessary bits and pieces to welcome your new family member, starting with a cat carrier to bring them home, a litter tray, litter, food and bowls as well as a bed, toys and scratchers
- you are ready to welcome them home NOW. We are unable to hold a cat for you if you are not ready to adopt.
