About Goofy
Re-introducing our newly separated Goofy, a handsome American Staffy x born 11th July 2020
Goofy loves nothing more than spending time with people & other dogs. He can get a bit boisterous and jumpy at times, so a home with older children would be beneficial for him so he can’t accidentally knock little ones over.
Goofy was scared of cats when we initially tested him so recommend a home without cats or pocket pets. We have noticed that when he goes to The Farm that he is a little too interested in the horses, so we recommend a home without horses as well.
Goofy is very playful and happy with other dogs, both large & small adults and puppies. If you have another friendly, playful dog already in the family, please remember to bring them along with you for a meet and greet to ensure everyone gets along fine before heading home to live together.
Goof can pull a bit on lead & he can get quite excited around people, so we do recommend continued training with loose leash walking.
Goofy seems to be quite good when left alone as long as he has another dog for company. A home with full-time workers would be fine for him as long as he has another dog at home.
We would love nothing more than Goofy & Luna to stay together, but as they've had no interest as a bonded pair we are now looking for them to be adopted individually to the right home.
Goofy is such a loving young man and he wants nothing more than a home he can call his own and not have to worry about losing another family.
If you think you could be that furever family for Goofy, please contact our friendly staff via email at ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com or 0499 900 272 to organise a meet and greet.
Goofy's adoption fee is $410 if he goes by himself, or $700 for both Goofy & Luna. This includes his desexing, vaccinations and lifetime registrations. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Goofy is currently located in East Maitland.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
