About Buster
Please meet Buster, a ridiculously handsome 3 year old staffy cross looking for a forever home, a foster home, or a "foster with a view to adopt" home!
Buster is a sensitive soul who can be fearful and anxious, particularly of other dogs. We have been working on this with him with a combination of medication and counter-conditioning training and he's come a long way, we know in the right home he will continue to heal.
When he knows you're safe he's an incredibly cuddly guy, and a bit of a goofball! He will shadow you around the house, will always come to sit next to (or on you!), and will bury himself under the covers at night (if you want him to share the bed) if not, he will give you your space when you ask and sleep on his own bed.
He's mastered many skills like sit, here, off, go find, and would love a family who will continue bonding with him through obedience training. He’s a smart boy and is eager to please so will learn new commands easily with a consistent approach.
Buster is toilet trained and will go straight to the loo after a meal and tell you when he needs to go out. This boy will reward you with absolute loyalty and could be the best boy with some understanding and training.
Buster will need to be the only pet in the house and would be suited to a calm, quiet environment.
He is:
- Desexed
- Microchipped
- Vaccinated
- The sweetest
Please get in touch if you think you can offer this boy the home he needs.
Medical notes
Buster is a happy healthy dog. He is desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. Buster is taking an anti-anxiety medication called Lovan. It is inexpensive, non-sedating and has no side effects.
