About Professor Purrington
Professor Purrington is our sweet, retired gentlemen who would love nothing more than to find a forever home to nap the days away. He got his name due to having over a decade of experience in human companionship and his regular and constant purring schedule.
Professor Purrington is a very affectionate fellow who is definitely a cat you can have a conversation with. Having been around for 14 years he has many stories to tell so a family that has the time to listen and chat back would make him very happy.
He is as chatty as he is hungry and he likes to have a delicious snack between stories he has to tell. Professor Purrington is a big kitty who needs a lap to nap upon and gentle hands to pat him until he falls asleep.
Professor Purrington has lived with other cats and even a dog before and he would suit most homes.
Note: This cat is currently being cared for in a home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another cat. Please contact our friendly staff to arrange to meet this cat at our Kemps Creek shelter...
