About Fred - 5 Year Old Staffy(On Hold 31/10/22)
Introducing Fred, a 5-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. Fred has found himself with Dog Rescue Newcastle after his family separated and could not keep him anymore. Fred has spent his years with a family with young children and was always a gentleman with the kids. Fred wants to be part of the family and is content when he is with you. Fred enjoys his morning and afternoon walks and playing in the yard with his foster parents. Fred has met a few dogs on his walks and has been polite to all of them so far. Fred has been sleeping in his foster mum’s laundry and is quiet throughout the night. Fred spends his days in the yard and the laundry using a doggy door when his foster parents are at work.
Fred’s previous family have housetrained him and taught him basic commands. Fred is a well-behaved boy who is not a digger, jumper or excessive barker. Fred loves his food and treats and will work for them. So far, we have found out that Fred is not a fan of mowers and vacuums however he is tolerating the robovac. Fred would enjoy a family home where the family has time and energy for him. Fred is a typical staffy that likes to have a chat and be by your side. Fred would be best as an only dog or with a submissive dog with a slow introduction. Fred is not a fan of cats or small animals.
Fred is in foster care in Tamworth NSW. He is available for adoption to NSW, ACT, VIC and QLD. Fred's adoption fee is $450 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas, worms and microchipped.
If you would like Fred to be your new best friend, we need you to please fill out our adoption questionnaire http://tinyurl.com/drnadopt

PLEASE NOTE: Dog Rescue Newcastle provides individual listings with specific requirements for each foster dog. If you submit an application or inquiry and DO NOT receive a response within 5 business days, please understand that you have not met the specific requirements for this dog. Please do not be disheartened or discouraged, this simply means you were not a suitable match at this time.
