About Pepper
I can promise you that you've never met a dog quite like Pepper!
This happy-go-lucky doggo has a beautifully affectionate and independent personality. During the day, Pepper likes to mooch around the house and yard, and she spends a lot of time asleep. At night Pepper sometimes chooses to sleep indoors, but mostly she likes to take her time sniffing around the perimeter of her property in the evening. She currently lives with three chickens and likes to stand guard over their coop through the night to make sure they're safe.
Even though Pepper thrives having a 'part-time job', she is also a complete cuddler. She loves to stand up and give you whole body Pepper-bear-hugs, with a couple of face licks thrown in for good measure! She is an absolute sweetheart and happily soaks up affection.
Pepper is a super friendly dog and enjoys hanging out with her doggy friends down at the park. However, sometimes other dogs can feel a little intimidated by her size. The truth is, Pepper is searching for a wonderful new home because her current elderly doggy housemate enjoyed life better when she was her mum and dad's one and only dog!
Pepper would love to go to a home where she can be someone's one and only at first, but might happily welcome a new puppy down the track! In the meantime, Pepper happily lives alongside two cats, and would likely be okay to live with cats in her new home! Pepper is an intelligent pup who knows it is probably best to leave them well alone…Aww!
In her new home, Pepper would love a large backyard. She would thrive in an urban fringe/semi-rural hobby farm situation with some animals to 'guard'. Pepper is quite a large dog and doesn't realise her size when she is playing with her stuffed toys or doing zoomies. For this reason, she would be best suited to a home without people she might accidentally bowl over.
The other requirement for Pepper's new home (and Pepper says this one is a real deal breaker) is that she must be able to continue her tradition of receiving a whole carrot each evening. Pepper will go and wait by the fridge each night to remind you!

When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
