Luna

Meet sweet Luna. She is a Kelpie cross (potentially with Australian Shepard or similar). She is an absolute sweetheart and is proving to be a very intelligent girl.

Luna is not a dog suited to shelter life and she is struggling being here in our kennels. We are looking for an experienced, patient owner who can help her settle into a new home.

During her stay in a foster home her family said that she obediently sits and drops every time she is asked and is keen to learn. She was cautious of new things and needed plenty of time and encouragement. When settled in her foster home she was quite easy going and not worried when left at home. She will need time to get back to being a happy relaxed girl as she has been quite overwhelmed with the hustle and bustle of shelter life.

Luna would be best going into a mature household without children or with older, confident teenagers. She does enjoy meeting other dogs but can get a little too excited, meaning that she could only go into a home with another dog if they are extremely confident and social.
