About Shiloh
Shiloh is an 8 year old Border collie x Australian Cattle girl who has an affectionate, cuddly personality.
Lovely girl x
She loves getting pats and lying next to you on the couch.
If she had it her way she’d be a fully inside dog that went for walks on occasion, she just loves being around humans.
She’s fully house trained.
A slow feeder is needed as she gobbles her food quickly.
Just a little chubby❤️
She loves chewing on treats however if there’s another dog in the house she may bark to ensure they don’t go near her bone. She’s not aggressive in any way, if the dog took it off her she’d comply.
On walks she can get really excited/overwhelmed if she sees another dog or hears another dog, however if all is well she walks like a treat, sometimes pulling if she really wants to sniff a tree.
This is still a work in process on her walks & AINB will support with training, needs to build her confidence on her walks.
She lives with other dogs
She’s playful with small dogs but does avoid bigger dogs.
She needs a 5/6 ft fence
Does need company with a human or another dog being male & smaller is the best match!
Likes to hide under desk or table when it’s stormy weather.
Children over 10 years
No history with cats
Adoption fee $400
Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need Website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. My emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
