Earnest

Earnest, or Ernie to his friends, is a gentle, friendly and confident cat. We think he is a Burmese cross. He greets everyone he meets with a friendly little head bump and loves a cuddles or a scratch. You'll rarely find him alone as he gravitates toward wherever the action is!

He gets along well with dogs, winning over even the most stubborn, cuddling up with them if no people are to be found. Speaking of cuddles, he LOVES them - whether it be in bed all night, next to you on the couch, or on your lap. He doesn't mind being picked up and carried around like the sweet little man he is. He likes to play bite at playtime but is very gentle and never hurts. He is very careful not to scratch as well.

You can't go wrong with Ernie. He is a great cat that deserves a loving home. He is very adaptable and could fit in just about anywhere. While untested with children and other cats, based on his interactions with dogs and adults, nothing seems to deter him and he is determined to make firm friends with whoever he meets. He is very easy going and would make a lovely addition to any home. He may get lonely if he is left completely alone for long periods of time.

Ernie is excellent with his litter tray and has not had any accidents or any markings - he just hasn't figured out that he is supposed to bury the number two's!
