SENIOR CAT NEEDS A NEW HOME

Cheeky and handsome 10 yo Tibs (Tibby) needs a new home. She is the 'sister' of Liesl who also has to be rehomed from a very loving home because of illness in the family. She is an adorably playful black cat with three white chest hairs and beautifully mischevious topaz eyes. The mischief doesn't stop there. She is a hair tie thief! If you leave hair ties lying around - game on. Tibby will chase them around the house for hours especially if they have leggy looking hairs sticking out of them - Tibby has no need for expensive toys! A very gentle and affectionate cat who will cuddle up to you in bed or on the couch. She prefers not to be held, but will eventually come to you expecting you to vacate your lap where she will sit and purr. You don't own Tibby, she owns you!

A lone wolf cat. Sometimes an anxious cat. She is also sweet and gentle. Would rather run away from confrontation than meet it head on. She is accustomed to living with another cat (Liesl) but it is not known how she would react to an unknown animal. She would prefer to stay away from visitors and never pose a threat to anyone. It would be an advantage to all if a safe room/space can be made for her to retreat to.

Tibby would suit a quiet home where she can reign as queen. Please come meet Tibby and see how lovely she is for yourselves.

At present her diet is a prescription diet. She as been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and Microchipped #953010000993742; Source#RE101165.

To adopt from us you'll be required to have minimum an online meet & greet, a remote house check, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Our animals are fully vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being advertised. They are evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and any known issues are communicated. NOT NEGOTIABLE CONDITIONS: indoor only/restrained to property & must be fed raw or vet prescription wet food.
We will communicate through every step of the process to ensure that the experience is excellent and your feline companion is the right fit. Read the contract for T&Cs for returns.
You must have residency in Australia to adopt from Cat People of Melbourne. If you are visiting or on a visa, talk to us about fostering instead!
