About Onyx
Please meet our adorable “Onyx”
Onyx is a clever, smooch, cuddly, loving girl. She loves to be with her people and also loves to be around other dogs. She does not really like to be left all alone as she will be sad and lonely. Onyx loves food enrichment toys and will work out challenges in a snap. She needs to have her clever little mind stimulated and would love to go to puppy school and obedience training.
You will get lots of laughs watching Onyx do zoomies like a typical greyhound/stag mix. Of course, she does also like to cuddle up and snooze too so be prepared for night time couch cuddles.
Onyx walks well on lead, she knows how to sit, and is learning toileting with reminders. She is going to make a great family dog who will love to go on adventures with her family and explore her world. Onyx travels well in the car and enjoys visiting new places. We believe Onyx would be best in a home with another dog to keep her company if you are out for a bit. If you are after a clever, super cute, puppy with puppy dog eyes to die for Onyx is you girl
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.

• You have a secure yard
• Onyx will not be alone for more than 4hrs
• You will allow Onyx to be part of the family and will allow her access to indoors.
• You WILL enrol her in obedience training
• You WILL provide her with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please include the name of the obedience school you will be taking her to.

Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
