About Sia
Sia is an absolute bundle of joy full of Staghound looks. She is a snuggle bug who enjoys lots of cuddles with her people, doing funny zoomies, being outdoors watching birds, and playing with toys. She will have you laughing with the way she throws her toys around in play.
Sia is quite clever and has learnt to sit, wait for food, shake hands. Spin, can use a doggy door, and sleeps in her crate at night. She is still an excited puppy who enjoys doing new things with her family and would love to go on adventures with you.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
IF YOU CAN TICK ALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
• You have a secure yard
• Sia will not be alone for more than 4hrs
• You will allow Sia to be part of the family and will allow her access to indoors.
• You WILL enrol her in obedience training
• You WILL provide her with daily exercise AND mental stimulation.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer will be considered. Please include the name of the obedience school you will be taking her to.
PLEAS NOTE: if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
